Welcome to Treetop Escapes!

Treetop Escapes is a treehouse community located in the heart of Lookout Mountain in Georgia. The Mighty Sycamore Treehouse is one the newest additions to Treetop Escapes and we cannot wait for you to visit!

The Mighty Sycamore Treehouse offers not only a fun and adventurous outdoor space but a sleek and cozy indoor living space as well! The main level consists of a cozy living area, kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher), two private bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and two full bathrooms with conventional toilet, all new fixtures, laundry room, and plenty of storage. In the loft, you will find cozy and welcoming sleeping spaces to enjoy after a day of adventures. Every bed features high-quality sheets and pillows for you and your guest's comfort during your stay. The two private bedrooms both feature king-sized beds, and in the loft you will find two bunk bed sets, one set is two Twin beds and one set is two Queen beds.

Other features that you will find when visiting the treehouse; are central HVAC for heat and air, WiFi, a coffee machine, a fully stocked kitchen, a charcoal grill, a private hot tub, and two outdoor slides! The slides are attached to the decks to allow a fun departure from The Mighty Sycamore Treehouse!

PLEASE NOTE: We engage in pest control at all of our properties, however, due to the rural nature of some of our properties guests may encounter insects and other small creatures. This can include ladybugs, flies, scorpions, mice, etc.

The guest count you provide must be accurate as there can be additional guest fees. Notify us if you need to adjust the guest count before arrival. A fine of $25 per night will be applied for each undeclared guest.

Reminder: If a guest missed the checkout time, additional fees will be added. If more than 2 hours past checkout, we will charge for an additional day.

Slippers and robes can be found in your treehouse for you to enjoy during your stay. If the robes are removed/damaged a fee can be charged to you.

If you would like to use the grill during your stay, please bring charcoal and a fire starter.

This property is located in a mountain landscape in Georgia. Please advise this property does include steep hills, walking up and down stairs or hills around the property, and a mountain landscape. Please be aware of this before booking.

On the first night of your stay please allow for up to 3 hours for the hot tub to fully heat the water.

Beautiful place, fun design. Kids loved the slides and hot tubs. However, upon arriving there were dead bugs everywhere crumbs on the floors, window sills, and counters. Weird goo found in master bed room. The steam shower in the master bathroom that we had been looking forward to for months since booking, the water was so hot we couldnt use it. There was no way to adjust the temperature, and if there was it was broken. The bunk beds were so unstable we didnt feel safe letting the kids sleep on them. The sliding glass doors lock was broken and we were unable to lock the doors anytime we left. And the worst part is when these things were mentioned we simply received an apology. If anything i wouldve expected the cleaning fee to be reimbursed considering it didnt appear any cleaning was done. When we asked if we could check in a little early we received a generic message saying no. Not sure why it wasnt for cleaning purposes.

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at The Mighty Sycamore Treehouse! This place has a very cool layout and great view. My wife and I loved the hot tub, and our 5yr old daughter had a blast on the slide. Our host was very helpful throughout our stay. I would for sure stay here again. Thanks!

Enjoyed our time there! We had thought it was 2 twin size bunk beds and were pleasantly surprised one set was full size. The balcony railing made us nervous with the youngest kids, since they could fit through the design, but they had a blast. The mattress protectors on the king beds were very noisy… sounded like it was wrapped in plastic, but otherwise beds were comfy. And the stump stairs from king rooms to main level were a surprise and hard to navigate for the kids and adults holding kids. Some were loose and the design just seemed a bit under-engineered. But overall we had a great time! Beautiful view with daily hang gliders right out the windows!

We had a relaxing Christmas here with family! Communication was fast and easy. The place was very unique and clean with amazing views! Unfortunately the hot tub was not working, so we were bummed about that. Someone did come fix it for us, which was very kind, but because it had been not working, it was freezing. Other than that great place!

The treehouse itself was a lovely and unique spot, offering a peaceful retreat in the forest. It was exactly as described, cozy and well-equipped. The host was responsive and quick to address any concerns, though there were a few things that were a bit of a bummer during our stay. The string lights outside the jacuzzi didn’t work, which made the area quite dark in the evenings, and half of the jets in the jacuzzi were out of order. It would have been nice if those had been in working order, as the jacuzzi was one of the main features we were looking forward to. Also, just a heads up — being in a mountain setting, we had quite a few ladybugs inside the house, which was something we hadn’t anticipated. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but these little issues did impact the experience slightly. Despite that, the host’s responsiveness and the overall charm of the place made it a memorable visit!

Overall the stay at the cabin was fantastic. The only issue was the stairs to the master bedrooms. In the pictures it has normal steps, but once we arrived we noticed it was tree stump steps. Being pregnant this made me very nervous to go up and down to use the bathroom during the night.

Very peaceful, with a good view. Very nice amenities throughout.Enjoyed the hot tub under the stars every night. Nice kitchen, with everything you need . Nice TV’s. There are many stairs to negotiate getting in and out. The stump stairs leading to the two private bedrooms are challenging to use, especially if you have to use the bathroom at night. Enjoyed our stay.

The Treehouse cabin needs quite a bit of repairs and upgrades before it would be worth renting. The lock for one that based off reviews has been an issue for about a year. Your belongings aren’t secure with a lock that doesn’t stay latched (double sliding doors). There was a huge cockroach problem that the owners wanted to “sweep under the rug”. My husband had to unclog both tub and shower drains, the water pressure in both tub/shower and stand alone was awful! There was broken glass left behind on the deck, causing my 2 year old to cut her foot. The “steps” into both bedrooms aren’t really safe. The parking isn’t suitable for the amount of guests the cabin holds. The steps leading to the cabin are very slippery when wet (due to being painted). All in all, the cabin is very aesthetically pleasing, but that is the only thing The Treehouse Cabin has to offer. And good luck getting any real resolutions from the owner of the cabin!

This place is seriously so great. We brought 4 kids ages 2-4 and they were outside playing on the slides the majority of our stay. The swings under the deck were so peaceful to sit in and enjoy the view. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We had plenty of towels for all of us (we stayed from Wed-Sun). The split masters with basically their own bathroom was great for some privacy since we had two separate families. Sage was very responsive and extremely helpful with a couple minor issues we had. Overall we were very impressed by the house and amenities and would absolutely recommend to families with children or a group of friends.

Amazing place! Location was private but close enough to downtown to be able to enjoy restaurants and such. Sage was an amazing host and the place had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a private location with everything you need, look here! 10/10 recommended!

Our stay at the Sycamore was fantastic! The cabin was spacious and clean and the location was great for our day trips out to Lookout mountain and Cloudland Canyon State Park. We highly recommend this stay!

This spot was GORGEOUS!! The hot tub was perfect and the slide was so much fun! Though the stairs in the main bedrooms are very steep. We had to walk down them sideways because our feet didn’t fit on the small steps. Be super careful on those, because we kept almost falling, though thankfully there was a railing. Other than those steps, this place is definitely worth the stay and worth 5 stars! The beds were cozy and the views immaculate! We had a great time and would love to stay again!

Our stay at The Mighty Sycamore Treehouse at Treetop Escapes was excellent! Between the 7 of us, 2 couple and 3 boys, we had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our stay together. The place was clean and tidy upon our arrival. Clear instructions were provided for check-in, use of hot-tub and check-out. Sage was very communicative from the get go and helpful when needed! The location itself was beautiful and not far from lots of things to do!

Highly recommended!! My wife and I brought out two little kids and enjoyed everything about this tree house. My 3 year old could not get enough of the slides attached to the building. The location was my favorite part, we were very close to Cloudland Canyon and Rock City. Chattanooga was also a very quick drive. This trip was a short one, but we will definitely be back for a longer visit soon!

My family and I just stayed at this treehouse for our spring break, and it was amazing! I saw a lot of reviews about the construction but when we were there, the construction was down the driveway a little bit, so we barely ever heard it. Everything was super clean and neat. There were a lot of little touches that just made our stay so nice. We loved how the area was out in the country but we were still not very far from Chattanooga and all it's attractions. I would recommend for anyone to stay at this treehouse!
