Welcome to Moonlight at Mentone!

Mentone Mountain Escape is a private tiny home community located atop Lookout Mountain. Flowing nearby is the East Fork of the Little River which leads to the gentle, beautiful Lake Lahusage. This beautiful and serene location provides you and your family the opportunity for a unique vacation with adventure, beautiful sightseeing, privacy, and a space to reconnect! Mentone is perfect for nature lovers and hikers, our home is located within minutes of all your outdoor adventures and sightseeing! The Mentone tiny home has internet, sleeps 6 comfortably and the main floor contains the master bedroom and 2 twin bunk beds custom built into the space. In the loft, you'll find another queen bed with ample space for moving around. Great living room space allows the whole family to spend time together and play a late-night board game or watch a movie.

Please Note:

The guest count you provide must be accurate as there can be additional guest fees. Notify us if you need to adjust the guest count before arrival. A fine of $25 per night will be applied for each undeclared guest.

Reminder: If a guest misses the checkout time, additional fees will be added. If more than 2 hours past checkout, we will charge for an additional day.

Please bring your own charcoal & fire starter if you would like to use the grill during your stay.

We loved our stay at this tiny house. Everything was exactly like the pictures, very clean, well stocked kitchen, cozy and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

I hate that the pictures of the tiny home did not match the inside (living area specifically). We had an issue with a stain on the upstairs bed and a pet urine stain right next to it.

Very attractive and well laid out for a tiny house. The only negatives are the toilet paper is obviously the cheapest and most uncomfortable ever and the outside needs some pretty landscaping. Other than those things it is a fabulous place to stay.

My husband and I wanted a quick weekend getaway and this was perfect. Plenty of room for us and everything worked as described. Comfy bed too! Wi-Fi was spotty but wasn’t a problem as we wants to unplug!! The only thing that bothered us was the ramp up to the porch and front door. It was a little precarious to navigate in the rain and being wet…I think it’s probably temporary until a more permanent entry can be built. Very responsive and accommodating owner! Thank you for everything!

Our stay was perfect for a couples weekend getaway. The directions were easy to follow and the location was easy to travel to different places, visit local attractions, or just sit around by the fire pit. Would definitely recommend. Rodney and Stacey Carroll Piedmont, Alabama

Nice location, but would reccomend getting there before sunset. It's hard to find at night even with written instructions. The road was nice to bike ride on as its pretty quiet. Grill has utensils and is propane, and fire pit was nice but firewood isn't provided. There was a beautiful stray or local dog. Super timid, but made grilling outdoors difficult. Indoor fireplace was nice, but no clear instructions. Wifi worked great after working with the host to get it running. Locking the door to go on an adventure was simple after a little investigating. It was a nice little weekend getaway after we got everything sorted out. Restaurants, shops, and state park are in close proximity to the house. There are cows in the back pasture behind the house that you can hear, but it didn't bother us any!
