Description

From the entryway, the living space with a sofa, two armchairs, and a desk is to your right. Straight ahead is the dining room with a large farm table.

Enter the fully-equipped, eat-in kitchen through the living and dining rooms. We provide all kitchenware items needed to prepare meals during your stay.

Our home has a split-bedroom layout. Left of the front door is the first bedroom, and the additional three bedrooms are down the hall off the living room. Bedroom one has two full beds. Bedroom two has one full bed. Bedroom three has a full bed. Bedroom four is the master; it has two full beds and an ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower and a washer and dryer. Outback is a large yard, deck, and charcoal grill.

The place was spacious- 9 of us slept comfortably. It was a fantastic location for going to the Notre Dame game. The host was informative and communicative. There were, however, a few issues that caused me to bring the rating down when comparing the guide that Air BNB provides for rating. The water smelt like rust when we showered and tasted like it when we brushed our teeth, so we ended up using bottled water to brush with. The shower curtain in the main bath appeared dirty and the tub was stained(might be from the water, though). The cabinet under the sink had an odor that lingered through the kitchen a bit, and the dishwasher had a strong odor. The barn doors in the back bedroom fell off while my mother was closing them and she is weak due to medical issues. It has potential to be amazing, especially for a game day stay, and it did accommodate us. Just needs some improvement. I would still recommend staying here, just be mindful of these things.

This house is an absolute HAZARD and we should have left before we got physically hurt. There are big, heavy barn door style doors on the master bath and somehow one of these doors wasn’t attached properly bc it fell off as I left the bathroom and smacked me so hard on the back of my head that I almost fell to the floor – while holding my baby in my arms. Absolutely terrifying and I still have a big painful bump on my head and a stiff neck bc of it. Our baby promptly found an electrical outlet without a cover on it and tried to poke his little finger in it. We asked host to please fix, but they told us to google it and repair ourselves. There were exposed wires in the living room, used bars of soap in the shower, a wad of hair in the shower drain, the toilet bowl was yellow, the floors were littered with old Cheerios, hair, hair pins, etc. The dishwasher was broken the entire stay. The garage door opened but it would not shut again. I’m out of characters but would 100% not recommend.
