Description

Located on the third floor, this bright loft overlooks City Center Park and makes a great place from which to explore surrounding destinations... Lake Michigan is a short drive, downtown St. Joseph is across the River, and the Golf Club at Harbor Shores is just around the corner.

You will park at the rear of the building in a private surface lot. A parking pass will be furnished and must be displayed on the dash of your car.

The 650sf loft features an open kitchen/living room, bathroom, and bedroom and includes a stacking washer/dryer. Fully furnished with everything you need to enjoy Southwest Michigan!

Please note the living room couch is not a sofa bed, you can sleep on the couch.

Kenneth was great and responsive, check in was easy but having to go up to the loft and get the gate opener, then come back down and get the car was extra steps but overall a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Brand new lofts with all the necessary amenities. Up and coming area. Very close to Silver Beach, and many things to do. We enjoyed the record player, comfortable bed, plenty of linens and towels. Excellent option for someone staying in the area!

Kenneth’s place was appointed very well. It had everything we needed and was one of the cleanest Airbnb stays we’ve had. The furniture, layout and design touches were awesome. There was an attention to detail with kitchen tidiness, bathroom organization and all new furniture. It was easy drive to St. Joseph and the building was secure. The general area around is under modernization so there are more trendy places to eat including at the ground level of the building. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return.

Had a nice short stay , clear instructions on how to check in , very clean. A bit noisy and the bedroom blind let in a lot of street light. Other then that real cute apartment.

My daughter and I stayed here for a girls get away and loved having a safe place to stay in. The bed linens were so luxurious and the bed was super comfy. We took advantage of the gas stove and cooked a few meals. I loved that the kitchen was stocked. The farmers market across the street was perfect to gather a few things to enjoy during our stay. The Mason Jar Cafe is amazing for breakfast and within walking distance. It was a great place to stay and we would definitely come back.

The Loft is exactly as described and is cozy, stylish, and comfortable. The Mason Jar Cafe was delicious. We ate there twice, and when we ordered a pizza from The Livery, we were pleasantly surprised to discover an open mike where my husband was invited to perform. The surrounding area, though, is pretty bleak. Despite the new restaurants, it's not a pretty neighborhood. Some parts were quite shocking, worse even than the south side of Chicago. The streets were deserted, there are few trees and no landscaping, the view from the apartment is mostly a parking lot, port-a-potties, a cannabis dispensary, and a handful of men loitering in the grass, most with suitcases. It goes a bit beyond urban grit, and--perhaps a positive--spurred a lot of discussion about Whirlpool, segregation, and gentrification. So it was a stimulating visit, just not the way we imagined! Hoping the revitalization is successful for BH.

Beautiful loft with wonderful decor. The pictures in the listing did not do justice to this place. You can tell the high quality that went into the design and construction. The restaurant below is really unique with a super friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Wish we had stayed longer this time. Kenneth is a great host! Everything needed for a great stay was there and he was very easy to contact.

The loft itself was very nice and clean with nice brick walls, high ceilings, update bathroom and a comfortable bed. The blinds could use some blackout curtains to help control outside light better. The A/C was also loud as it was turning on and off all night long. The surrounding area was a mix of update shabby-chic restaurants and shops, and run down, abandoned builds. St. Joe's is just across the river which is a nice area to visit. All in all it was a nice place to visit and stay for the weekend.

Gorgeous downtown loft-style apartment in a historic Benton Harbor building, perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer-term business stay. Beautiful renovation with tasteful furnishings and design elements throughout, and extremely clean. It's an old building with high ceilings and exposed ductwork, so there is some noise from the heating system at night. Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs.
