It brings me no joy to have to give my first sub par review for an Airbnb, and while there are plenty of pros to this stay I’d be remiss if I didn’t express my disappointment with my stay at this location. The location, beautiful. The camper, comfortable and the deck area, magnificent. 10/10. However, I had asked the owners many times about a fire pit, as it looks like there is one in one of the photos And the instructions sent mention bringing your own firewood. I was told there was no fire pit but that I should enjoy the hot tub. The first thing I see as I pull up to the location with no wood or means of making a fire, a beautiful fire pit and to add insult to injury the hot tub hadn’t been cleaned in months and had a layer of grime floating on the top of it making it unusable. The grill looks to have never been cleaned and is your only real means of cooking as the hot plate they give you is older than me and takes forever to heat up. It caught fire and burned my food. 3/5 stars

What a wonderful, peaceful place! We visited in September and when we weren't sleeping or hiking we were relaxing in the hot tub, eating and playing games at the outdoor table, reading on the patio chairs, and enjoying the outdoor shower. The Airstream was wonderful to have a cozy but comfy place to sleep and access to a kitchen, but the real benefits of this Airbnb are the outdoor amenities, nearly all of which are part of the covered enclosure. You drive through a gate and everything from there is private. You don't seen any other houses and we didn't see anyone after turning off the road unless you count the six deer that greeted us near the parking spot. One of our favorite Airbnbs ever. Close to Cloudland Canyon and the great hiking down into the gorge but also a short trip into Chattanooga and the restaurants, museums and riverwalk. A highlight way from the Airstream and the hot tub was sunset at Lookout Mountain watching the hangliders.

Barry and Jane's place was so super cute!!! We were there for three nights and didn't even turn the TV on, just relaxed on the porch. The extra bathroom is a wonderful touch for sure! This is one of our places that will stay on the list, and have already recommended it to some friends!

Place was as described and very peaceful. Very private and secluded while being less than 20min to Chattanooga restaurants and nightlife. Great spot to unwind at and just sit and be at rest. Enjoyed the hot tub, but the outdoor shower was the best. Camper was quaint and very comfortable. Host was very preemptive with directions and instructions for check in. Didn't have any issue during stay, but host was very responsive when communicating before stay.

I was looking for a quiet and relaxing location with lots of privacy and that is exactly what I got. The Vintage RV was very charming, but the outdoor living space was the bee's knees! Relaxing in the hot tub and taking hot outdoor showers was amazing after a long day of hiking and mountain biking. If you are looking for seclusion and relaxation this place is for you.

This was such an amazing place! We were looking for somewhere unique, away from city lights, with a great view, and this place is perfectly what we were looking for! The hosts were AMAZING, so responsive with super clear instructions. I will say - don't let your GPS take you, follow the instructions. They're very accurate! The place was so clean and cozy, with a beautiful outdoor shower and decor. The hot tub was amazing for unwinding after hiking and exploring the city all day. I recommend waking up really early and watching the sunrise in the hot tub - was our favorite part of the day! We will definitely be back! :)

It was a beautiful quiet get away about 20 minutes away from downtown Chattanooga! The hot tub was amazing and the outside area was amazing and they have two showers with great pressure. The bed was comfortable and nice to lay in. overall if you’re looking for a private getaway it is absolutely amazing.

Beautiful location, very tucked away and private despite a few nearby properties. The outdoor space is large, well covered, and has a great view, making it a great spot for an outdoor fire in the pit. The hot tub was broken for my visit, but the hosts were very responsive and helped make the situation right despite the missing amenity. Making food is a little tricky. There's a hotplate and grill for use, but both are dated and take a minute to heat up. The airstream itself is cozy, nicely decorated, and has several sitting areas despite the small space. Overall, it's a great space that gives you the feel of camping while providing all the comforts of home.

Booked this Airbnb for New Year’s weekend and I can say it definitely did not disappoint! Everything was exactly as described, easy directions getting to the place and up to the property. Very peaceful and serene. Amazing views and watching the sunrise on NYE morning was one of our favorite things. The outdoor bathroom was easy to find and had its own heater so it was very warm as well. The hot tub was a definite plus and easy to use. We had a fun and relaxing night playing Yahtzee at the dining room table and the back bedroom was very cozy and we slept well back there. They provided most basic things, even a cork screw opener, which came in handy. And then the drive to and from Chattanooga was an easy, straight shot down 193. This place was truly a hidden gem and I plan on booking again in the future!

We absolutely loved staying in this tiny home!! The bedroom gets a little chilly in the winter even with the heater, but it’s not too bad when you’re bundled up! We loved the view from the porch and enjoyed the hot tub as well. So cozy and adorable!

The location is up a hill and out of sight from the main road. It's a little tricky to find without use of the Waze app. Is isolated from other homes and sits atop a hill. The surroundings are beautiful but be mindful of being alone in the woods. The outdoor additions to the camper were by far the best features of the space. There is a large bathroom built on the back side of the camper, however, it is not easily seen and there is no signage to alert that it is there. Even though it was in the photos, I didn't even think about it once I got there and didn't use it. A little sign pointing it out would have been helpful. There is a hot tub and that is the primary reason I chose this location but the temperature was not hot. I messaged the hosts about increasing the temperature and received a reply five hours later that addressed the jets not the temp. Very disappointing. Overall, good clean space but not great communication. Location was about 20 min from restaurants and stores.

Just returned from 4days at Highpoint Hideaway . If a peaceful, quiet location with beautiful surroundings is what you are looking for this is the place for you! The inside is small but we basically only went inside to sleep. The covered deck is huge and so relaxing with plenty of seating, a hot tub, outdoor shower and large, full bathroom. Isolated but only a 20-30 minute drive into Chattanooga for great restaurants or sight-seeing. The hosts live nearby and were very responsive when we had a problem with the code opening the door. Barry was there within minutes to get us in (completely operator error). Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we return to the area.

Absolutely gorgeous spot on the top of the hill. Peaceful and private. Spacious inside and out. Outside bathroom and shower was a great addition. Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barry and Jane's. So relaxing. We loved the hot tub and fire pit. We spent most of our time outside. We had the pleasure of meeting Barry and Jane and they were soo nice and friendly and made sure everything was ready for us including the outdoor amenities! The property is beautiful. We have already recommended the place to friends and will definitely be back ourselves.

Pictures do not do this hosting justice. The area is beautiful! Between the hot tub and the outdoor shower you’ll easily fall in love. Host have seriously thought of everything you could need and have taken great pride in their listing. Only thing we regret is not staying more days as we slept better here than our previous hotel!

We had such a lovely time at the AirBnB. We loved the outdoor shower and hot tub, it was a great way to unwind after a long day of activities and exploring! We grilled out and made smores too. Just an overall wonderful experience. Our kids really enjoyed the place too!

A super private Airbnb with beautiful views. Had enough space for two adults in the trailer comfortably, and tons of room on the patio. The hot tub was definitely a highlight of this rental. Overall, we had a great stay here, and had tons to do in Chattanooga.

We absolutely loved staying here and will def come back!! My only complaint is the bugs all inside the camper.. but that’s bound to be the case with the location. It’s was exactly what we expected but better! The outside shower was our favorite part and there are hammocks provided as well! Thank you Barry and Jane for your listing!

What a place! First timers staying in an Avion trailer and the experience makes us want to do it again. Even though it rained, we had a relaxing time and didn't mind being comfy inside. The hottube was a plus, and so was the grill that we used times. Highly recommended, and we definitely want to do this again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay and see ourselves coming back in the future. The stay was peaceful and relaxing! Just what we needed, the only thing this place needs is a swimming pool, and then it would be heaven . My only suggestion is to improve the check-in/check-out times. A 4 PM check in with a 10 AM check out is not enough time (18 hours), considering the price point and that with your average hotel, you can check in around 2 or 3 PM and check out at 11 AM. We felt rushed for our one night stay because of that. Other than that , the place was just as described. We even talked about returning next year for our anniversary celebration and staying longer.

Thank you for an awesome experience this place is great. Although the winds prevented us from having a fire we did take advantage of some good muscle relaxation in the hot tub. Which I would like to say that was our only dislike as the water seemed pretty dirty and there are dirt rings around the tub. Everything else was a thumbs up. Your instructions for packing up are definitely different on the fridge compared to what you emailed me so maybe an up date on the fridge would be great as I was not on my phone. The pics do make it seem private however we could hear close neighbors. I definitely recommend your place to friends. Thanks again!

This was the cutest little getaway! The directions given upon booking made it very easy to find. We used the Waze link and it took us right to the entrance. The place was very clean and well cared for. Although we could see other houses-we still had our privacy! The hot tub was perfect, AC in the unit was great, and the additional bathroom was a great addition. Only thing was we had bought firewood since it was noted to provide your own. However, when we got there, neither of the two lighters that were there worked - so we weren’t able to do that. Also, there was a TV with a Roku remote, but didn’t seem to actually have a Roku hooked up. We messaged the owners (missy and sage responded?) and they tried troubleshooting a little and apologized. They were very responsive and did what they could at the time! Wasn’t a super big deal, as it gave us more time to talk and unplug! Overall, a great stay that feels like a getaway while being close to activities! Thanks so much!

We feel like we hit the jackpot with this airnbnb!! It was the perfect location for rest, relaxation and privacy yet close enough to explore all that Chattanooga has to offer. The drive into the city was very easy. We would definitely recommend this place. Bed was comfortable too.

Beautiful stay and location. The gps had a mini freak out when we pulled in but we managed with some common sense. Everything was clean and ready for us, I will say we only saw three towels so if you’re planning for a long stay I’d bring extra. We just left the towels we use for the hot tub outside to dry and they were ready by the time we took showers. Barry and Jane were easy to get in contact with, we had some issues finding lights but they responded fairly quickly. The sleep area didn’t really have any lighting for the night time but the light from the bathroom lit the place up well enough. Would definitely come again.

I hate not writing a 5 star review, but we had a few issues with this place. :( A lot of the lighting in the camper wouldn’t work. We had to move the lamp from the living room into the bedroom. The bedroom lamp had an old bulb that didn’t work. We tried using the lantern, but it also didn’t work. Also, it wasn’t as private as expected because someone was riding an ATV in the driveway and around the property during our stay. The mattress is VERY firm—some may like that, others may not. Otherwise, everything was clean and it sufficed as a place to sleep at night. We did enjoy the hot tub! Note: Make sure to use the hosts directions, and not your GPS. GPS did not take us to the correct property.

My husband and I stayed at The High Point Hideaway for a quick one-night getaway. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the sunset views and the hot tub was very relaxing. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind, this is it! We did have issues with lights not working and a few other small things, but we were there such a short time. When we reached out, it seemed we were getting responses from a property management company and not from the hosts themselves, as the responses we got were indirect and did not address the problem. Overall the property was lovely and we wanted to spend our short stay relaxing, and not going back and forth with the hosts. I’m sure the hosts would have addressed the issues if our stay had been longer.
