Welcome to Dreamer at Mentone!

Mentone Mountain Escape is a private tiny home community located atop Lookout Mountain. Flowing nearby is the East Fork of the Little River which leads to the gentle, beautiful Lake Lahusage. This beautiful and serene location provides you and your family the opportunity for a unique vacation with adventure, beautiful sightseeing, privacy, and a space to reconnect! Mentone is perfect for nature lovers and hikers, our home is located within minutes of all your outdoor adventures and sightseeing! The Mentone tiny home has internet, sleeps 6 comfortably and the main floor contains the master bedroom and 2 twin bunk beds custom built into the space. In the loft, you'll find another queen bed with ample space for moving around. Great living room space allows the whole family to spend time together and play a late-night board game or watch a movie.

Please Note:

The guest count you provide must be accurate as there can be additional guest fees. Notify us if you need to adjust the guest count before arrival. A fine of $25 per night will be applied for each undeclared guest.

Reminder: If a guest misses the checkout time, additional fees will be added. If more than 2 hours past checkout, we will charge for an additional day.

Please bring your own charcoal & fire starter if you would like to use the grill during your stay.

Absolutely beautiful tiny home. Everything was exactly as described. Private, peaceful and beautiful scenery. Only a few things could be better and the host is aware of these things. Water could be warmer, bed frame in master needs to be more sturdy and matress could be softer and curtains for all windows. I honestly can not wait to return to my little peaceful getaway.

We loved our time at the Cabin at Mentone Mountain Escapes! We grilled steaks and had a nice campfire and made s’mores. Our kids loved it!! I highly recommend these tiny houses in mentone! They are so cool!!

I fill like they should have pointed out that there are no steps to get up into the place. It’s a pile of red, loose dirt and little rocks to get up to the front porch. Then a big step up onto the porch. Just feel like this should be pointed out for those people w walking and/or knee and leg issues. Easy fix! Otherwise, it’s an adorable tiny house and tiny house community. There was no firewood for the fire pit and we weren’t able to get the inside fireplace to turn on. There are also a whole lot of rules! But overall it was a super cute place and the beds were comfortable. Nice decent sized tv’s for the evenings and a coffee selection for mornings. I would stay here again.

I rented this house for my mom and I to have a late Mother’s Day celebration by going to June Jam in Fort Payne. I absolutely ADORED the house. I loved the location, and the privacy. It was conveniently located, and it was a very relaxing two nights. I would return for another unplugged getaway sometime soon to actually explore Mentone.
